Fancy knowing about my top skincare picks? Keep reading to see my review of Kiehl’s Nightly Refining Micro-Peel!
Kiehl’s will always have a place in my heart for being the first ever skincare routine I truly invest in. Not only have I worked for them, I’ve visited their flagship store in New York and held blogger events for the brand. It’s where my passion for skincare actually began! I always try to be the first in line when they launch a new product, because I honestly believe all their products are effective and worth every penny.
What is Kiehl’s Nightly Refining Micro-Peel?
The Kiehl’s Nightly Refining Micro-Peel is a new addition to the line, and it focuses on helping to refine the rough texture of skin. This face serum helps to increase the speed at which your skin cells regenerate, encouraging new skin to come to the surface faster. This obviously helps in revealing a fresher, smoother complexion.
How do I use it?
You apply the serum at night, after cleanser and toner, but before any other additional serums. It’s actually okay to layer other skincare products on top, which I think is great. Usually I follow with Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil, and then my Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream. The things we do for good skin, eh?
What do I think?
This is a solid addition to your nighttime skincare routine. I suffer from dry skin, and sometimes it needs a bit of a kick up the backside to get going. Your skins natural repair process happens at night, so having a product to help encourage skin cell turnover is going to be a winner in my eyes. I find that when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels super fresh. It’s honestly like I’ve had a mini facial, without any effort at all because it happens while I sleep!
If you’re a skincare junkie like me, you’ll love this product. It’s definitely one worth trying, and Kiehl’s are nice enough to provide samples if you go to one of their counters. Make sure you check out the full range of products by clicking here.
