As a vegetarian, it’s not always easy getting as much protein as I need. Especially when working out. Don’t get me wrong, if I plan my meals and actually put thought behind what I eat, it’s easy. However for those days when I’m not in the mood to plan a meal, protein shakes come in really handy.

I’ve tried two shakes from UFIT in the past, and wasn’t disappointed. They have recently added two new flavours to their protein shake range, and I couldn’t wait to try them.

Iced Coffee Protein Shake

UFIT is packed with 22g of protein, 3.2g of fibre, plus added vitamins and minerals! It’s also great that is actually has no added sugar. The new Iced Coffee Shake also contains 113mg of natural caffeine, which is from 100% natural arabica coffee. If you’re a coffee lover like me, it’s perfect to be able to get some of your protein intake from a coffee!

As with the original favours, it didn’t leave the typical protein powdery taste in my mouth. It was delicious and defintiely comparable to some of the pre-made iced coffees on the market. I find that after I’ve had this shake, I’m surprisingly full. Meaning I can have this shake with some fruit, and my breakfast is sorted!

UFIT Pro50 Shake Vanilla

I’d not actually tried anything from the Pro50 line before, so I was intrigued. Whilst I wouldn’t have a shake with this much protein in regularly, it’s perfect for if you’ve been cracking on in the gym.

Packed with 50g of protein, 4.7g of fibre, and vitamins and minerals, this is defintiely a step up to the standard line. This one actually tastes like melted ice cream, doesn’t that sound great? It is a bit heavier than the standard range so it’s not something I’d have all the time. But it tastes nice, none the less.

UFIT is really easy to get hold of. You can get it directly from their website www.theproteindrinksco.com or from a number of leading retailers including Tesco, Holland & Barrett, and more.

Once again, I’m impressed with UFIT. The shakes taste good, help give you the added nutrition you need, and are really convenient. I’d defintiely repurchase the Iced Coffee Shake again, as this is definitely up my street!

Have you tried anything from UFIT before? Let me know in the comments below.
