I’ve been playing with the idea of changing my routine for a couple of months, but haven’t gotten around to it. I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch event for the Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque and the timing couldn’t have been better, as I’d just run out of my usual facemask and cream!

I’ve used Dermalogica in the past and I couldn’t wait to try it again! The event was held at the Dermalogica counter in Selfridges Trafford Centre and I met with a lovely bunch of people from the team. From the moment I walked in, until the moment I left, I felt very welcome! If you’re about, definitely head in and speak to them, maybe even get a free Face Mapping Skin Analysis!

The Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque is an all-in-one treatment that detoxifies, brightens and invigorates all skin conditions. When I found out it was the go-to masque for tired, lackluster skin, I was sold! My skin is easily affected by stress and tiredness, often leaving me with a blotchy, uneven skin tone. I’m always on the hunt for something to combat this problem, as it’s my main skin concern.

The masque is packed full of goodness! It has ingredients that help to purify, brighten, calm, refine and revitalise the skin. Every ingredient in Dermalogica products is there for a reason, not just for show! I also love that Dermalogica is completely cruelty-free, they don’t test on animals!

I’ve been using this masque for a couple of weeks now and I can honestly say I’m in love! You put the masque on for 7-10 minutes and then gently wash off. It has a lovely cooling and tightening feeling. I love the feeling of a facemask that tightens on your skin, don’t you? Once I washed the masque off, my skin felt instantly revitalised! I could tell the results instantly. I tend to get some red patches on my skin, which had gone! My skin also felt really smooth and fresh!

This masque is honestly one of the best I’ve ever tried! Believe me, I’ve tried a lot! Usually I only use masques like this on my t-zone, because my skin is naturally quite sensitive. However I can apply this to my whole face and it actually helps! You can use this masque up to four times a week; however I find that using it once or twice is good enough for me!

I can’t rave about this product enough! I’ve got a number of face masques from The Body Shop and Kiehls, although for different purposes, they don’t hold a candle to the Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque. As the masque has so many, I feel as though it’s all I’d need for pretty much all of my skin concerns! As well as this masque, I’ve been using the Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream. Since switching over, I’ve actually had compliments on how clear my skin looks!

Treat yourself and buy this masque! It’s £38, which in my opinion is a steal! You’d have to buy a couple of masques from other brands to get the same benefits this one provides, so it’s definitely worth it!

You can buy the Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque here. If you can, I’d advise going into a Dermalogica counter and buying it there, you’ll get a skin analysis too which gives you a detailed breakdown on the problem areas of your skin.

Have you ever used Dermalogica before? Let me know what you use in the comments!

I love the sound of the masque and the skin analysis sounds so interesting – I think I might be too scared to actually see what sort of state my skin is in though haha!

I was wondering if there was any opportunity to get some samples on this charcoal mask and the Hydrablur primer please. I’m pregnant and due in May with baby 2, and with lack of sleep, I need all the help I can get. Looking for some small miracles! Thanks

      Hi Rachel,
I’m probably not the best person to ask! However if you head over to Twitter and Tweet @DermalogicaUK this message I’m sure they can help! @HisHabits too, let them know I sent you! ☺️
