The right car is a great way of having more freedom and opportunity, as well as being in a position where you can improve your life and have more responsibility at the same time. Checking out a Vauxhall dealer is a great way of finding the right kind of car, that is reliable and dependable, and can improve your life as a result.

See the World

It is also hugely important to ensure that you get out of your bubble and go and see the world. There are a lot of things that play a part in helping you enjoy everything the world has to offer. Choose to visit places you’ve never been to before, and really enrich your cultural understanding of the world. Affording your dream holiday abroad is certainly achievable; you just have to make sure you think about the right ways of saving and planning.

Be Happy in Your Career

Your career is one of the most important aspects of your life, and you need to make sure you are happy and fulfilled in your career. This is something that you should be looking towards for the future, and it might mean changing your career in the future. So, this is something you have to work toward if you want to improve your way of life, and your happiness for the future.

Get Financially Savvy

One of the most important things you need to think about sorting out is how you can become more financially savvy. This is so important for helping you be more comfortable in your life, as well as taking better care of your money. There are plenty of hints and tips that you need to think about when it comes to improving your finances. You might also like to consider hiring an accountant in order to improve the way you manage your money and the things you spend it on.

There are a lot of things that you can do that are going to help you improve the way you are doing things in 2019. It’s important that you make the right choices to help your life improve, and these are some of the big decisions you need to make in that regard. It is essential you look at how you can make your life better, and this is something you need to work on moving forward.

My Most Listened To Artists of 2018

How often do you listen to music? If you’re like me, you’ll probably listen to it every single day! I have a number of artists that I’m always listening to, and they’re always appearing in my most listened playlists. This is why it’s so important that you have a great pair of headphones, because if you want to listen to music, it’s better to do it with high quality equipment.

Earlier last year, I finally got my hands on a pair of Bluetooth headphones, and let me tell you, they changed the game. Being able to listen to music around the flat without having wires everywhere is amazing. I live with my partner and wAe listen to different music, so it’s nice to tune in to our own from time to time. If you’re looking for a new pair, you can’t go wrong with a Panasonic Bluetooth Headphone.

I wanted to share a couple of my ALL TIME favourite artists and albums. I have a playlist that I call ‘Sunday’ and it’s basically songs that I adore, that are easy listening, and I know every single word to. It’s also where I add some new songs that I want to listen to more, but it’s mixed in with ones I love.

Boyz II Men

Potentially my favourite band of all time. I’m a sucker for an old school R&B album, and the whole discography from Boyz II Men is a DREAM.

Javier Colon

This artist is a little more unheard of. He was on The Voice US a long time ago, and his voice is incredible. His music is R&B, meshed with soul an acoustic. Also his cover of ‘Time After Time’ is incredible.

Leona Lewis

It wouldn’t be a favourite music post if I didn’t mention this woman. Leona has a special place in my heart and I’ve loved her ever since the days of XFactor. Her new album, I Am, should have got so much more success than it did.

All of these artists will appear in my most listened tracks, every year, without fail. I find that I’m always listening to them and for some reason, I just can’t break away!

Do you have any artists that you always go back to? I probably listen to more old music than I do new.

My experience with M&S Opticians

I’ve worn glasses since I was at least 16. What a lot of people might not know is that my vision isn’t THAT bad, I have to wear glasses when I’m driving, watching TV, using a computer or reading – which is pretty much all the time.

I can actually go days without wearing them, but I suffer from migraines, and I find that any kind of eye strain doesn’t make them easier. Hence why I basically wear them all the time.

It’s incredibly important to get eye tests on a regular basis, not just for your vision, but for your general health. I’ve had so many in my time, but I’ve never actually been impressed, until I had one at M&S.

The level of detail the optician went into was incredible. They checked both my eyes in more detail than I’ve had done before. This included photos of my eye, a pressure test, and a general sight test. Can you believe that I’ve gone to my previous opticians due to migraines before, and they didn’t even go into this much detail? Yet this is just a standard thing with M&S and I’m incredibly impressed.

As expected, my vision hasn’t changed. I get eye tests every 6 months to make sure my eye health is in good condition. But whilst I was there, I picked up a new pair of glasses. I currently have two others, but I wanted something different. I also wanted to try a lense with anti-glare, as I’m constantly on computers and the reflection isn’t fun.

Since I’ve had these new glasses, I’ve basically worn them every day! I’ve gone for a clear grey frame, so they’re not as bold as clear acrylic (which is something I want to try next), but they’re still a bit more modern than your traditional solid colour frame.

If you haven’t tried M&S opticians, I would really recommend them. They’re in a number of stores across the UK, but I visited the Manchester store and the team are amazing.

M&S are offering my followers a free opticians appointment! All you have to do is show my blog when you go in, you can book an appointment here. How great is that?!

Celebrating World Chocolate Day with JimJams

Raise your hand if you love Nutella! ✋ But do you know how much sugar it contains?

It’s World Chocolate Day on the 7th July, which is the best excuse to indulge. This year I’ve been reducing the amount of sugar I’ve been having, and I actually cut it out completely for 3 months – so I’m a lot more clued up on what’s in my food. A typical chocolate spread can actually contain over 200g of sugar per jar. That’s huge!

With that in mind, I’ve never been happier to share a sweet treat with you all. JimJams have two chocolate spreads, that have 83% less sugar than leading brands. This year I’ve been reducing how much sugar I have each day. For me, it’s been the best way for me to control my weight in a way I can actually stick to.

But when you cut out sugar, you really do start to miss chocolate. Well, I do anyway. Thankfully, with JimJams, I can actually have my cake and eat it too.

What makes JimJams so special?

JimJams have two products in their range, a milk chocolate spread and a chocolate hazelnut spread. As I’ve already mentioned, both of these products have 83% less sugar than leading brands. But they’re also gluten free, kinder on teeth and diabetic friendly. Not to mention that they’ve also won an award for how they taste!

Typically when you remove sugar from a product, it’s usually packed full of other things to compensate for it. JimJams use a sugar alcohol called malitol. Maltiol is actually a member of the xylitol family, which you might be more familar with because it’s used to sweeten chewing gum and toothpaste.

Alongside the issue of sugar, most supermarket hazelnut chocolate spread brands are packed full of palm oil. Whilst some of it is produced in a sustainable way, unfortunately some isn’t. JimJams mainly use rapeseed oil in their spread, which is packed full of Omega 3 and low in saturated fats. Now the spreads do contain some palm oil, but it’s fully sustainable and certified by the RSPO.

So the important question, how does it taste?

Pretty good to be fair!

I’m not going to lie, I had low expectations. Purely becuase I’ve tried products like that that claim to be better before, and they’re usually vile. But not JimJams! I think if I didn’t know it had less sugar, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

I feel as though it’s sweeter than a supermarket hazelnut spread, even though it has less sugar. It doesn’t taste as rich as others I’ve tried, but it’s still by far one of the best I’ve tasted.

Now I just ate this straight off a spoon, which I know is vile, but we’re being real here. But I know this would taste even better on toast, or even pancakes! My boyfriend and I used to eat pancakes every weekend, but in an attempt to be healthier, we cut them out. Well I guess this Sunday morning ritual can come out of hibernation!

If you haven’t tried JimJams before, I’d really recommend it. No healthy food ever tastes as good as the original, because the sugar causes an addiction, but this brand comes pretty close!

You can get JimJams from either Holland & Barrett, or most supermarkets. Have you tried it before? Let me know in the comments below!

The Ultimate Father’s Day Gift Guide

Every year we celebrate Father’s Day. Which means every year, we have the same struggle of trying to find out Dad’s another gift.

It’s not about the most expensive, or the most fancy gift. I find what my Dad appreciates the most is the gift that actually means something to him. Something I know he’ll like, appreciate or get use out of.

With that in mind, I’ve pulled together what I believe to be the ultimate Father’s Day Gift Guide. It features a selection of products, and hopefully it’ll give you some inspiration!

For the well-groomed Dad…

My Dad is always asking for a new razor – I think he shaves pretty much every week. Wilkinson Sword have an amazing selection of razors that range in price, making it the perfect gift for any Dad that looks after his facial hair. They’re all high quality, help achieve a really close shave, and I can guarantee your Dad will appreciate it.

You can buy the Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Groomer for £7.98 from Superdrug.

For every Dad…

Everyone can appreciate the gift of a good scent. Thankfully, Dermot O’Leary has a range of fragrances available at M&S that are classic, fresh and light enough for daily use. I love the smell of the new Earl Grey & Sandalwood, so if you buy this as a gift for your Dad, make sure you don’t end up stealing it for yourself.

The Dermot O’Leary Earl Grey & Sandalwood is £22 from M&S.

For the Dad who likes his baths…

My Dad is a builder, and after a long day he always jumps in a bath. I reckon he does it to get some peace, but it could also be because his job is a bit messy. Give the gift of a Bomb Cosmetics set to him and he’ll definitely appreciate it. Afterall, everyone likes getting shower or bath products!

The Distinguished Gentleman Gift is available from Find Me  Gift for £11.99.

For the sentimental Dad…

You’ll probably agree that not every Dad needs a gift. My Dad is actually incredibly apprecitive of anything we get him, even if it’s just a card. This one from Norma & Dorothy is customisable which means you can put a personal message on it. It takes this simple gift to the next level and really makes it mean something.

You can get this card from Norma & Dorothy for £4.75.

For the techy Dad…

My Dad is always on his phone, his laptop or playing his PS4. If yours is too, why not get him a new phone case? Speck have an incredible new range that are inspired by the colour of the World Cup. They’re high quality, affordable and have simple, inoffensive designs.

The Presidio Grip World Edition iPhone X Case is £29.95 from Speck.

For the lager lover…

My Dad always appreciates a couple bottles of beer, or larger. Why not treat yours to a few if he likes that? Celia are an organic premium lager brand that’s hand crafted in Czech Repblic. They’re a bit different than your typical supermarket brand, which makes this gift a little bit more special.

Celia lager is available on Ocado for £2.29.

For the hard working Dad…

Every Dad will appreciate shower gels. Especially when they’re as luxurious as this selection from Noble Isle. They smell incredible and look equally as great. This is the kind of gift you’ll buy for your Dad, and end up keeping for yourself.

Each Noble Isle Bath & Shower gel is £20 and available here.

For the food loving Dad…

My Dad loves to cook. And he also loves to snack! If your Dad is the same, then this VonShef Cheese Board is the gift for him. It comes with 3 cheese knives and pulls out to become a full circle board. It’s stylish, practical and will also make a great centre piece for any social gathering.

The VonShef Cheese Board is available from Domu for £17.99.

For the Dad who has everything…

Some Dad’s are incredibly difficult to buy for, I know mine can be at times. When that’s the case, you can never go wrong with a pair of socks. This gift from Thortful in actually has socks inside a card, which is just a little bit nicer. They also have a selection of cards that have chocolate inside too – perfect!

Cards from Thortful range in price so check them out here.

For the chocolate loving Dad…

Who doesn’t love chocolate? I know my Dad does. This is a chocolate pizza from the Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Company. It’s been so hard not to eat this while it’s been in my flat before giving it to my Dad. It’s fun, novelty gift that is perfect for any Dad with a sweet tooth.

This chocolate pizza is available from Find Me A Gift for £19.99.

For the Dad who likes his me-time…

Although my Dad is really social, he also loves his space. (Don’t we all?) If yours is the same, why not give him a little face mask from Bandito? They’re affordable, and created specifically for men. I’ve used them before and love them, so it’s definitely worth a shot.

All masks from MasqueBar are available from ASOS and vary in price.

For the Dad who likes his liquor…

My Dad loves whiskey, so a bottle is a gift that always goes down well. If it’s something yours drinks often, it might be worth trying something a bit more premium, like this bottle of The Glenlivet Code. It’s a pricey bottle, so might not be for everyone, but if you want to splash out a bit, it’s worth it.

To find out more about this premium whiskey from The Glenlivet, visit their website.

For the coffee lover…

My Dad loves coffee. Both my parents do to be fair. I bought them a coffee machine for Christmas and they seriously love it. This makes coffee the perfect gift and if your Dad drinks coffee, you can’t go wrong with something from Percol or Dualit. Whether it’s instant, or for a machine, they’ll appreciate it. Both brands are fairtrade too, which is awesome!

You can buy Percol for £2.99 and Dualit Coffee Capsules for £12.

There you have it – the Ultimate Father’s Day Gift Guide! I know my Dad would love every single product I’ve mentioned in here, and hopefully you’ll find some inspiration from my selection.

Make sure you follow me on Instagram for more inspiration as the year goes on.

Products in this guide where sent for this gift guide. I hand picked everything based on what I know my Dad will love, and all views are 100% my own.
